Computer Networking

Computer Networking is a field of computer science that is concerned with the communication between computer systems or devices. Networking involves designing, implementing, securing and managing networks to ensure optimal communication and data exchange. Networks can be categorized in several ways, such as by their scope (Local Area Networks (LANs), Wide Area Networks (WANs), the Internet, etc.), by the method used to connect the devices, or by the primary protocol used for communication. Computer networking enables devices and endpoints to be connected to each other on a local area network (LAN) or to a larger network, such as the internet or a private wide area network (WAN). This is an essential function for service providers, businesses and consumers worldwide to share resources, use or offer services, and communicate.
